Spectators: 7223 (Terracing: 5419, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) Furacão EFL's Duda Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Rezende in the 8th minute of play. After 8 minutes of play, Iaciara's Richard Rezende made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Duda Quadros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Richard Rezende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duda Quadros having to interfere. If Maurício Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedrinho da Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Richard Rezende blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Duda Quadros having to make a save. Maurício Cardozo took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Duda Quadros. Duda Quadros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Richard Rezende struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Duda Quadros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iaciara. After 49 minutes Furacão EFL's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Germano Moraes who took care of the corner kick. After the first half Iaciara were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedrinho da Silveira to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maurício Cardozo got free with Duda Quadros in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Walmyr Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Jano Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute Walmyr Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jano Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 66 minutes, Pedrinho da Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Furacão EFL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedrinho da Silveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Walmyr Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jano Esteves having to interfere. If Germano Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Iaciara's Richard Rezende dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Iaciara played a much better game than Furacão EFL and deserved their victory. The Furacão EFL players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
