Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cássio da Cunha took the kick off in the first half of the match. If João Vítor Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as José Carlos de Alcântara kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabrício Netto. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. In the 23rd minute João Vítor Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrício Netto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Valdir Santos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seu Paulo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chateaubriand the free kick. After 30 played minutes Seu Paulo FC got a freekick which was hit by Valdir Santos. In the 33rd minute of the match, José Carlos de Alcântara tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fabrício Netto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Isaltino Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio da Cunha in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Chateaubriand's Elivélton Meireles dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The supporters of Chateaubriand booed when Seu Paulo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remir Cambero didn't get a good kick on the ball. If João Vítor Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elivélton Meireles came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fabrício Netto could save by the left post. The Chateaubriand fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Chateaubriand's João Vítor Bueno looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Vítor Bueno to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Seu Paulo FC's Valdir Santos got a free kick in the 54th minute. Chiquinho Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrício Netto having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Seu Paulo FC's zone, João Vítor Bueno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabrício Netto came out of the goal and João Vítor Bueno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabrício Netto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Carvalho in the 69th minute of the match. Cássio da Cunha's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Isaltino Rossi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With an all-out effort, Seu Paulo FC's Isaltino Rossi threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fan Mo Yun, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cássio da Cunha took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isaltino Rossi. Isaltino Rossi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Isaltino Rossi made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Cássio da Cunha sent off a good shot on target. 87 minutes into the match, Chateaubriand's goalkeeper Isaltino Rossi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cássio da Cunha. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Chateaubriand fully deserved thier win.
