After some careless play in the mindinho SS defense, Fernandão Linares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Duarte Neto. The mindinho SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Duarte Neto should have stopped the shot. A collision led to mindinho SS getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Dinei Seco hit a great ball. When Endel Lepik came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Number One fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Endel Lepik couldn't finish the play. After 35 played minutes mindinho SS got a freekick which was hit by Edu de Sena. In the 38th minute, Willian Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eusébio Braga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Róbson Perez made a huge save. After having played for 43 minutes, Eusébio Braga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. mindinho SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusébio Braga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Duarte Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Endel Lepik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Endel Lepik stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes mindinho SS got a freekick which was hit by Paulinho Varela. Duarte Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Endel Lepik, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. mindinho SS's Duarte Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Endel Lepik in the 54th minute of play. Duarte Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Endel Lepik in the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Endel Lepik in the 63rd minute of play forced mindinho SS's goalkeeper Duarte Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, mindinho SS's goal looked a bit too open when Endel Lepik came free, but Duarte Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Fabinho Cruz threw the ball into play from the sideline. mindinho SS's Eduardo Coelho quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Number One's Vitório Carioca was substituted for Fernandão Linares. In the 79th minute, Víktor Braga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eusébio Braga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Róbson Perez having to interfere. If Víktor Braga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, mindinho SS's goal looked a bit too open when Endel Lepik came free, but Duarte Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Number One's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
