Spectators: 7574 (Terracing: 5682, Seating: 1741, VIP seats: 151) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jardel Cosme made the kick off which started today's match. Rodriguinho Coelho made in the 7th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Samuel Cardozo. A collision led to Rufa City FC - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Iuri Figueiredo hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, Júnior Corrêa notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Rufa City FC - FSCMZ's Clemente Baiano. Clemente Baiano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ciro Brito came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Rufa City FC - FSCMZ's Jardel Cosme. But to his dismay, Jardel Cosme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. João de Andrade blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clemente Baiano having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Samuel Cardozo took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Clemente Baiano to make any attempt to save it. Antônio Carlos Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute Sílvio Luís Faustino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jardel Cosme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciro Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jardel Cosme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rufa City FC - FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Finus F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fabiano Viana took the corner. After a defensive mix-up in Finus F.C.'s zone, Evandro de Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Brito came out of the goal and Evandro de Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 37 played minutes Rufa City FC - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Guga Reis. 41 minutes into the match, Jardel Cosme had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciro Brito. Finus F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jardel Cosme was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Clemente Baiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júnior Corrêa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Finus F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rufa City FC - FSCMZ were winning 2-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Júnior Corrêa was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Bebeto Marquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jardel Cosme received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ciro Brito came out and tried to block the shot, but Jardel Cosme slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 58th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 67 minutes into the game, when César Baptista put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Finus F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! In the 76th minute, João de Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Finus F.C.'s Elias Mello was substituted for Júnior Corrêa. Ciro Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jardel Cosme in the 85th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Jardel Cosme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jardel Cosme scored 3-8 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciro Brito, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Evandro de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 97 played minutes Jardel Cosme rounded Finus F.C.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-9. Rufa City FC - FSCMZ played a much better game than Finus F.C. and deserved their victory. The Finus F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
