Wanderson Paiva started the match with the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Libertadores's Wanderson Paiva slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Duarte Neto. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. mindinho SS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Generoso Gasteiz scored to the left of an out of position Duarte Neto, making the score, 2-0. Libertadores's Robinho Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Braga in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Zé Terra made a precise shot to the right of Duarte Neto. mindinho SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After 20 played minutes mindinho SS got a freekick which was hit by Acácio Alves. In the 24th minute, Libertadores's Wanderson Paiva ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Duarte Neto. Duarte Neto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. mindinho SS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Wanderson Paiva scored to the left of an out of position Duarte Neto, making the score, 5-0. Duarte Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardinho Matos in the 31st minute of the match. After 33 minutes of play, Libertadores's Ernesto Barral made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Duarte Neto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Duarte Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wanderson Paiva in the 36th minute of the match. Duarte Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardinho Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 40 minutes of play, Libertadores's Zé Terra made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Duarte Neto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Duarte Neto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Terra in the 43rd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eusébio Braga to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Wanderson Paiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Duarte Neto was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. In the 55th minute, Acácio Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Libertadores's Zé Terra got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Duarte Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardinho Matos in the 58th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, mindinho SS's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Terra came free, but Duarte Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Terra in the 61st minute of play forced mindinho SS's goalkeeper Duarte Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Wanderson Paiva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Duarte Neto. mindinho SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wanderson Paiva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. mindinho SS's Duarte Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wanderson Paiva in the 67th minute of play. Wanderson Paiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With 69 minutes on the clock, Acácio Alves commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for mindinho SS! The referee gave Libertadores a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ricardinho Matos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of mindinho SS's Duarte Neto. 11-0. 76 minutes into the game, Ricardinho Matos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. Duarte Neto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Libertadores's Eduardo Sanches got a free kick in the 81st minute. Duarte Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generoso Gasteiz in the 83rd minute of play. After 84 minutes of play, Libertadores's Ricardinho Matos made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Duarte Neto was left in no man's land by his defense there! 88 minutes into the game, Libertadores's Zé Terra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Duarte Neto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 14-0. In the 93rd minute, Generoso Gasteiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Libertadores walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
