In the 12th minute of the match Humberto Vidal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Válter Secco skillfully saved the ball. David da Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Válter Secco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Humberto Vidal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Válter Secco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. After 19 minutes of play, Graminea's David da Silva made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Válter Secco was left in no man's land by his defense there! David da Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Válter Secco made a huge save. If Aglauros Kokoris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Aírton Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Graminea's Humberto Vidal got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celio Campoo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Pereira in the 30th minute of the match. Válter Secco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David da Silva in the 33rd minute of play. Válter Secco was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Humberto Vidal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Humberto Vidal really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After some careless play in the Graminea defense, Claudinho Pereira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celio Campoo. The Graminea fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celio Campoo should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudinho Pereira was the one to do the kick off. If Aírton Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David da Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Aglauros Kokoris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When David da Silva came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Graminea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David da Silva couldn't finish the play. Graminea's Léo Ceresso was substituted for Aglauros Kokoris. 70 minutes into the match, Hero Saints Fc's goal looked a bit too open when David da Silva came free, but Válter Secco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celio Campoo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Pereira in the 72nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Graminea's Baldomero Atenas got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Graminea's zone, Enéas Furtado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celio Campoo came out of the goal and Enéas Furtado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hero Saints Fc's Válter Secco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léo Ceresso in the 77th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Léo Ceresso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Válter Secco was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. When Eduardo Porto came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Graminea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Porto couldn't finish the play. Celio Campoo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinho Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, Graminea's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Pereira came free, but Celio Campoo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Válter Secco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes in the game, Claudinho Pereira fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Celio Campoo having to interfere. Graminea's Celio Campoo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Pereira in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by David da Silva in the 95th minute of play forced Hero Saints Fc's goalkeeper Válter Secco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Graminea had played much better football throughout.
