Aglauros Kokoris could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Cauan Dracena made a huge save. Celio Campoo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado de Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute, Mazinho Alagoano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Humberto Vidal took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Cauan Dracena to make any attempt to save it. After 18 played minutes Shadown EC got a freekick which was hit by Sidney Melo. Graminea's Aglauros Kokoris got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cauan Dracena was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Aglauros Kokoris capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aglauros Kokoris really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Graminea's David da Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Shadown EC's goalkeeper Cauan Dracena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aglauros Kokoris. Cauan Dracena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aglauros Kokoris in the 41st minute. Aglauros Kokoris's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cauan Dracena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Aglauros Kokoris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Graminea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aglauros Kokoris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Conrado de Moraes made the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Aglauros Kokoris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aglauros Kokoris scored 3-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cauan Dracena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Graminea's Eduardo Porto was substituted for Humberto Vidal. After a rather tough play, Graminea's Iuri Amorim got a free kick in the 75th minute. When David da Silva came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Graminea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David da Silva couldn't finish the play. Cauan Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Léo Ceresso in the 82nd minute of play. Léo Ceresso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cauan Dracena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Cauan Dracena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Léo Ceresso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Léo Ceresso's late challenge caught a Shadown EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Léo Ceresso helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Shadown EC booed when Graminea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Léo Ceresso didn't get a good kick on the ball. David da Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cauan Dracena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. When Jeremias de Lara fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Shadown EC's protests and gave Jeremias de Lara a yellow card for diving instead. Cauan Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edu Nogueira in the 96th minute of play. In the 97th minute of the match Graminea got a corner. Shadown EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. David da Silva ran over to the corner to take the kick. Graminea's David da Silva was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cauan Dracena in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the referee ended the match the Graminea players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
