Cléber Capixaba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Jonas Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Cangaceiros PE getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Anísio Dante hit a great ball. When Adrianinho Saldanha came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Cangaceiros PE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrianinho Saldanha couldn't finish the play. After 20 minutes, Adrianinho Saldanha made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Carvalho Fc's Jonas Bezerra tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the match, Adrianinho Saldanha dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonas Bezerra, 2-0. After 28 played minutes Carvalho Fc got a freekick which was hit by Zé Pedro Vander. Jorge Linares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adrianinho Saldanha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Teodoro Luz hit a great ball. Danilo Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Pernambucano in the 35th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Carvalho Fc's zone, Jorge Linares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Bezerra came out of the goal and Jorge Linares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Cangaceiros PE defense, Teodoro Luz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Danilo Veloso. The Cangaceiros PE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Danilo Veloso should have stopped the shot. In the 44th minute Marcel Pernambucano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Veloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cangaceiros PE's Danilo Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel Pernambucano in the 47th minute of play. After 47 played minutes Cangaceiros PE got a freekick which was hit by Anísio Dante.

After 53 played minutes Cangaceiros PE got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Valladares. Cangaceiros PE's Danilo Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giuseppe Sá in the 56th minute of play. When Cangaceiros PE's Adrianinho Saldanha in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carvalho Fc's goalie prevented a goal. Danilo Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Pernambucano in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute Adrianinho Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Bezerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cangaceiros PE's Luiz Gustavo Mazza got a free kick in the 67th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Cangaceiros PE's goalkeeper Danilo Veloso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nilmar Trevisan. Adrianinho Saldanha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Adrianinho Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Adrianinho Saldanha came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Cangaceiros PE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrianinho Saldanha couldn't finish the play. Giuseppe Sá could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Danilo Veloso made a huge save. Cangaceiros PE's Danilo Veloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Cangaceiros PE from getting a goal against them. After 92 minutes of play, Cangaceiros PE's Cléber Capixaba made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonas Bezerra was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adrianinho Saldanha in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonas Bezerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
