Arthur de Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute Giuseppe Sá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão Siqueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Jonas Bezerra managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when PAYSANDU's Arthur de Amaral fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcel Pernambucano in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simão Siqueira saved PAYSANDU from getting behind. Simão Siqueira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Giuseppe Sá's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. 25 minutes into the game, Teodoro Luz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carvalho Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PAYSANDU the free kick. A collision led to Carvalho Fc getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Teodoro Luz hit a great ball. Miguel Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Silvinho Silva was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 28th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 35 minutes into the game, Gustavo Sergipano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PAYSANDU's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carvalho Fc the free kick. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diamantino Brasil was the one to do the kick off. Giuseppe Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simão Siqueira having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diamantino Brasil in the 62nd minute of play forced Carvalho Fc's goalkeeper Jonas Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giuseppe Sá might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Simão Siqueira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Giuseppe Sá ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonas Bezerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diamantino Brasil, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diamantino Brasil couldn't finish the play. 3-0 became the score in the 95th minute when Diamantino Brasil elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. PAYSANDU's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
