In the 16th minute, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Edin Džeko ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zé Abraão. Zé Abraão yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Zé Abraão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edin Džeko went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 23 minutes into the match, Detonautas FC Return's goalkeeper Zé Abraão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edin Džeko. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edin Džeko got free with Zé Abraão in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zé Abraão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edin Džeko in the 26th minute of play. Detonautas FC Return's Zé Abraão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Detonautas FC Return from getting a goal against them. Zé Abraão came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Edin Džeko. But to his dismay, Edin Džeko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Bruno Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Edin Džeko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zé Abraão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Detonautas FC Return's Zé Abraão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Detonautas FC Return from getting a goal against them. In the 46th minute, Jarbas Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 8-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dito Cordeiro made a kick off. Edin Džeko took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zé Abraão. Zé Abraão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edin Džeko in the 63rd minute of play forced Detonautas FC Return's goalkeeper Zé Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edin Džeko in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Abraão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zé Abraão didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Edin Džeko shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 12-0 in the ordered_time% minute. The Nova Erechim - FSCMZ fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Edin Džeko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 14-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zé Abraão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edin Džeko in the 94th minute of the match. Jarbas Eger kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ fully deserved thier win.
