Maloca's supporters rose to their feet, but Felippe Miranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdir Damião breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th minute, Nestor Maia made a precise shot to the right of Jonas Jauregui. Maloca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With a little luck, Leão da Serra FC's Valdir Damião got control of the ball when Luan Veloz tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Maloca's Valdir Damião threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Felippe Miranda, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luan Veloz to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Maloca's Virgílio Madureira got a free kick in the 54th minute. Jonas Jauregui made an important save on a dangerous shot by Serafim Marques in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute Hernani Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Jauregui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Maloca's goalkeeper Jonas Jauregui had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serafim Marques. Valdir Damião came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Maloca's Alfredo Dantas. But to his dismay, Alfredo Dantas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Serafim Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jonas Jauregui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Hernani Rocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Leão da Serra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luan Veloz came free, but Valdir Damião reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Maloca's Luan Veloz in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maloca reached it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Leão da Serra FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Maloca.
