Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nelsinho Peres started the match with the kick off. Apiacás Esporte Clube's Serginho Bittencourt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Bertassi in the 8th minute of play. If William Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diogo Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serginho Bittencourt having to interfere. Serginho Bittencourt didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Patativa's Marco Bertassi shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 19th minute, Reynaldo Domingues ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dedé Machado was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Dedé Machado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from William Cardozo went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to Apiacás Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Nelsinho Peres hit a great ball. Nelsinho Peres took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dedé Machado. Dedé Machado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After 44 minutes of play, Apiacás Esporte Clube's Nelsinho Peres made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dedé Machado was left in no man's land by his defense there!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marco Bertassi made a kick off. 61 minutes into the match, Apiacás Esporte Clube's Reynaldo Domingues sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dedé Machado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Apiacás Esporte Clube's Reynaldo Domingues got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Patativa's Cléber Massa got a free kick in the 66th minute. After having played for 67 minutes, Reynaldo Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Apiacás Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynaldo Domingues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dedé Machado was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Nelsinho Peres capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nelsinho Peres really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Serginho Bittencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Bertassi in the 74th minute of play. Dedé Machado made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Reynaldo Domingues sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute Marco Bertassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serginho Bittencourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Negri was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 88 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of Patativa:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Apiacás Esporte Clube:s goal. When the match had been going on for 89 minutes, Apiacás Esporte Clube's Reynaldo Domingues got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Dedé Machado. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Nelsinho Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Apiacás Esporte Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Nelsinho Peres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dedé Machado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute, William Cardozo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 97th minute, Diogo Godoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
