After recieving a nice pass, E.C Foz Do Iguaçu's Eurico Aguiar tried to score from far away in the 68th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. E.C Foz Do Iguaçu's Eurico Aguiar got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 71 minutes, Pedro Luiz Mota mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Petardo Futebol e Surf and the E.C Foz Do Iguaçu players grew even worse after the yellow card. With an all-out effort, E.C Foz Do Iguaçu's Flavio Silviano threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jeferson Vergílio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 98 minutes into the game, Eurico Aguiar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Flavio Silviano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. E.C Foz Do Iguaçu played a much better game than Petardo Futebol e Surf and deserved their victory. The Petardo Futebol e Surf players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
