With an all-out effort, Facção Capixaba's Walmir Borges threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomás Romero, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 12 minutes into the game, Umbrella Futebol Clube's Henrique Andrade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Eduardo Negri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a little luck, Umbrella Futebol Clube's Walmir Borges got control of the ball when Leonel da Cunha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Henrique Andrade might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Eduardo Negri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henrique Andrade ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 20th minute Henrique Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Eduardo Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henrique Andrade got free with Luiz Eduardo Negri in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute, Henrique Andrade left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Umbrella Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 63rd minute, Arthur Favoretto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henrique Andrade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Luiz Eduardo Negri made a huge save. Walmir Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel da Cunha in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Glauco Quadros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Umbrella Futebol Clube played a much better game than Facção Capixaba and deserved their victory. The Facção Capixaba players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
