Albertinho Cavalcante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guga Tavares having to interfere. Tony Angelsø could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Ken Urdal made a huge save. The corner led Mexilhão F. C.'s Pedrão Mello to fire away a dangerous shot which Ken Urdal despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ken Urdal was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Pedrão Mello capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pedrão Mello really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. USS Enterprise's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
