Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aílton Gerber, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Umbrella Futebol Clube's Noel de Lima slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aílton Gerber. That made the score 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. After 24 played minutes Renascer got a freekick which was hit by Hílton Britto. 35 minutes into the game, Henrique Andrade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Aílton Gerber was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aílton Gerber made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Henrique Andrade sent off a good shot on target. Aílton Gerber was a little too slow when Wágner Cordeiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denílson Mello to make the kick off. If Henrique Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wágner Cordeiro in the 57th minute of play forced Renascer's goalkeeper Aílton Gerber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Daniel Ceresso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Renascer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Umbrella Futebol Clube the free kick. After a rather tough play, Renascer's Daniel Ceresso got a free kick in the 60th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Renascer's goal looked a bit too open when Wágner Cordeiro came free, but Aílton Gerber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Noel de Lima came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Umbrella Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Noel de Lima couldn't finish the play. After 71 played minutes Renascer got a freekick which was hit by Hílton Britto. Walmir Borges had in the 77thth minute some difficulties stopping Lucas Mello's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Henrique Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot. Umbrella Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrique Andrade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aílton Gerber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st minute, Henrique Andrade left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Umbrella Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 84th minute Wágner Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aílton Gerber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Umbrella Futebol Clube had played much better football throughout.
