Elmar Bruch took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benjamim Matos. Benjamim Matos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 9 minutes into the game, Celsinho Vides cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Benjamim Matos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benjamim Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elmar Bruch in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute of the match Águia Tricolor got a corner. Poderosas fc's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Víktor Prata ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 20th minute, Amadeu Porto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Poderosas fc defense, Elmar Bruch kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benjamim Matos. The Poderosas fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benjamim Matos should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Poderosas fc's Amadeu Porto got a free kick in the 35th minute. Águia Tricolor were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Poderosas fc's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Víktor Prata took the corner. If Elmar Bruch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamim Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celsinho Vides in the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Águia Tricolor's Elmar Bruch nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benjamim Matos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Poderosas fc's Benjamim Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elmar Bruch in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elmar Bruch made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elmar Bruch in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamim Matos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Poderosas fc's Benjamim Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christos Roros in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Águia Tricolor's Romário Donatello got a free kick in the 55th minute. A collision led to Águia Tricolor getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Víktor Prata hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Poderosas fc's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Celsinho Vides fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 65 minutes into the game, Christos Roros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Águia Tricolor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poderosas fc the free kick. Christos Roros kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Walter Bem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeu Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamim Matos was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Elmar Bruch capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elmar Bruch really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elmar Bruch in the 84th minute of play forced Poderosas fc's goalkeeper Benjamim Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Águia Tricolor played a much better game than Poderosas fc and deserved their victory. The Poderosas fc players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
