Sebastian Svanberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but José Maria Ramalho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. After a rather tough play, AkyReef Sporting Atletic's Elói Prata got a free kick in the 6th minute. AkyReef Sporting Atletic's Sebastian Svanberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Maria Ramalho in the 7th minute of play. After having played for 15 minutes, Zé Paulo Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AkyReef Sporting Atletic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Paulo Barbosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 17 played minutes USS Enterprise got a freekick which was hit by Grégoire Devillard. Zé Paulo Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ken Urdal having to interfere. USS Enterprise's José Maria Ramalho got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind USS Enterprise's goalkeeper Ken Urdal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, AkyReef Sporting Atletic's Bruno de Salles got a free kick in the 28th minute. After some careless play in the AkyReef Sporting Atletic defense, José Maria Ramalho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastian Svanberg. The AkyReef Sporting Atletic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Svanberg should have stopped the shot. 35 minutes into the match, José Maria Ramalho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastian Svanberg. AkyReef Sporting Atletic's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Maria Ramalho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Sebastian Svanberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Maria Ramalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albertinho Cavalcante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Sebastian Svanberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Leiva hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Maria Ramalho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Maria Ramalho in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Svanberg saved AkyReef Sporting Atletic from getting behind. 52 minutes into the game, Osvaldinho Marques threw the ball into play from the sideline. AkyReef Sporting Atletic's Zenon Debowy quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 54th match minute, AkyReef Sporting Atletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo de Senna to maneuver through the defense. After 56 played minutes AkyReef Sporting Atletic got a freekick which was hit by Elói Prata. After recieving a nice pass, USS Enterprise's Dorian do Nascimento tried to score from far away in the 57th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Sebastian Svanberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Maria Ramalho in the 58th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the game, USS Enterprise's Albertinho Cavalcante nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastian Svanberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. USS Enterprise's Boruc Fudalej was substituted for Dorian do Nascimento. In the 66th match minute, AkyReef Sporting Atletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo de Senna to maneuver through the defense. After 78 minutes of play, USS Enterprise's José Maria Ramalho made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastian Svanberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 82nd minute, Albertinho Cavalcante left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The USS Enterprise fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. 86 minutes into the match, AkyReef Sporting Atletic's Ricardo de Senna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ken Urdal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 88th minute of the match USS Enterprise got a corner. AkyReef Sporting Atletic's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hílton Tepedino ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Hílton Tepedino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sebastian Svanberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 90 minutes into the match, José Maria Ramalho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastian Svanberg. AkyReef Sporting Atletic's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Maria Ramalho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. There was no doubt that USS Enterprise were the better team. USS Enterprise's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
