In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trolls Lança Negra's goalkeeper Dominik Radzyminski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Hermes in the 17th minute of play forced Trolls Lança Negra's goalkeeper Dominik Radzyminski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dominik Radzyminski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gara Sim in the 19th minute of play. RedBull Sete Copas's Flávio Zonta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Diniz in the 20th minute of play. After 20 played minutes RedBull Sete Copas got a freekick which was hit by Gara Sim. Clóvis Matos's late challenge caught a RedBull Sete Copas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clóvis Matos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd match minute, Trolls Lança Negra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clóvis Matos to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute, Clóvis Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flávio Zonta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Diniz in the 26th minute of the match. The supporters of RedBull Sete Copas booed when Trolls Lança Negra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Trolls Lança Negra's goal looked a bit too open when Ulu Sina came free, but Dominik Radzyminski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrick de Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th match minute, RedBull Sete Copas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belmiro Pires to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erasmo Hermes to strike the kick off in the second half. Ezequiel Diniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Flávio Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erasmo Hermes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 89 minutes, Erasmo Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RedBull Sete Copas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erasmo Hermes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. RedBull Sete Copas's Gara Sim pulled a muscle in his back after 90 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renan Alcântara during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 92 played minutes Trolls Lança Negra got a freekick which was hit by Renan Alcântara. Enio Vergílio hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. RedBull Sete Copas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
