The corner went over the outstretched arms of RedBull Sete Copas's goalie and right to Rômulo Nascimento. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. RedBull Sete Copas's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 9 played minutes Leão STAND BY FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Dário Azevedo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joélson Barral in the 10th minute of play forced Leão STAND BY FSCMZ's goalkeeper Tiago Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erasmo Hermes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Tiago Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eusébio Rezende had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jeferson Peixoto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Flávio Zonta skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 21st minute Patrick de Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, RedBull Sete Copas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belmiro Pires to maneuver through the defense. RedBull Sete Copas's Flávio Zonta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save RedBull Sete Copas from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulu Sina in the 32nd minute of play forced Leão STAND BY FSCMZ's goalkeeper Tiago Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiago Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Hermes in the 33rd minute of the match. Tiago Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulu Sina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leão STAND BY FSCMZ's goalkeeper Tiago Arósio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tiago Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick de Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Tiago Arósio came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by RedBull Sete Copas's Gara Sim. But to his dismay, Gara Sim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erasmo Hermes was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Rezende in the 53rd minute of play forced RedBull Sete Copas's goalkeeper Flávio Zonta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute of the match Leão STAND BY FSCMZ got a corner. RedBull Sete Copas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eusébio Rezende ran over to the corner to take the kick. Leão STAND BY FSCMZ's Eusébio Rezende was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Flávio Zonta in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Patrick de Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the RedBull Sete Copas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrick de Almeida couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute Rômulo Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flávio Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrick de Almeida struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Tiago Arósio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RedBull Sete Copas. The crowd rose to their feet as Patrick de Almeida kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tiago Arósio. That made the score 0-2 in the 62 minute of play. Jeferson Peixoto kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. RedBull Sete Copas made a substitution. Gildo Guerra replaced Caco Luz. In the 72nd minute, RedBull Sete Copas's Ulu Sina ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tiago Arósio. Tiago Arósio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Tiago Arósio made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Erasmo Hermes sent off a good shot on target. If Patrick de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Gara Sim managed to get in a good position for a shot. RedBull Sete Copas's supporters rose to their feet, but Gara Sim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiago Arósio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 85 minutes into the match, RedBull Sete Copas's goal looked a bit too open when Jeferson Peixoto came free, but Flávio Zonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Leão STAND BY FSCMZ's Basílio Rosa got a free kick in the 88th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Leão STAND BY FSCMZ's zone, Erasmo Hermes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiago Arósio came out of the goal and Erasmo Hermes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Erasmo Hermes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiago Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulu Sina, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Erasmo Hermes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 99thth minute tested the skills of Tiago Arósio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. RedBull Sete Copas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
