Gabirel Jesus ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, AÇAÍ SA's Hendrik-Jan Brugmans got control of the ball when Laércio Mazza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adriano Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabirel Jesus in the 12th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Pedro Katia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The supporters of JupiterGT booed when AÇAÍ SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dino Siqueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, one of JupiterGT:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for JupiterGT. Adriano Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabirel Jesus, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Luís Gustavo Pimenta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. In the 74th minute, Gorka Jordo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adriano Lago. The goal made the score 0-7. The AÇAÍ SA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AÇAÍ SA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
