A. SAQUAREMA got a freekick which was hit by Arne Svensson. Adriano Lago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamin Brereton's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Marcelinho Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laércio Mazza in the 6th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Dedé Salles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adriano Lago was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. After 12 minutes, Dedé Salles made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. JupiterGT's Adriano Lago tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 15 minutes into the match, JupiterGT's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Brereton came free, but Adriano Lago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, A. A. SAQUAREMA's goalkeeper Marcelinho Quadros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laércio Mazza. Falcão Pontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin Brereton in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adriano Lago saved JupiterGT from getting behind. A. A. SAQUAREMA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Valdo Dracena in the 30th minute. Arne Svensson's late challenge caught a JupiterGT's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arne Svensson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of JupiterGT booed when A. A. SAQUAREMA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arne Svensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gerson Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laércio Mazza in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelinho Quadros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Benjamin Brereton sped through JupiterGT's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adriano Lago. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Falcão Pontes to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin Brereton in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adriano Lago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adriano Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dedé Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute, Gerson Paes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to A. A. SAQUAREMA getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Kaká Vinhas hit a great ball. Dedé Salles received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adriano Lago came out and tried to block the shot, but Dedé Salles slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 60th minute. Adriano Lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldir Fernandez in the 63rd minute of the match. Sílvio Cerezo kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. With a little luck, JupiterGT's Adriano Lago got control of the ball when Benjamin Brereton tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to JupiterGT getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Gerson Paes hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, A. A. SAQUAREMA's Dedé Salles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adriano Lago narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, JupiterGT's Adriano Lago got control of the ball when Benjamin Brereton tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 88th minute Falcão Pontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelinho Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Dedé Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A. A. SAQUAREMA's Marcelinho Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laércio Mazza in the 95th minute of play. A. A. SAQUAREMA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
