After some careless play in the Discovery defense, Otávio Freitas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Godfredo Teodor. The Discovery fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Godfredo Teodor should have stopped the shot. In the 11th minute, Sal Darby reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Godfredo Teodor. The goal made the score 2-0. Godfredo Teodor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Carlos Mesquita in the 15th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, João Carlos Mesquita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Godfredo Teodor. Discovery's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Carlos Mesquita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 21st minute, Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Sal Darby dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. In the 24th minute, João Carlos Mesquita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th play minute Sal Darby came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Godfredo Teodor. 5-0. 35 minutes into the match, Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's goal looked a bit too open when Patrekur Hákonsson came free, but Meng Yu Hui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Meng Yu Hui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrekur Hákonsson in the 38th minute of play. Meng Yu Hui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrekur Hákonsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Discovery's Godfredo Teodor got control of the ball when Sal Darby tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sal Darby to make the kick off. Godfredo Teodor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Otávio Freitas went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. João Carlos Mesquita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Godfredo Teodor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Percival de Souza scored 7-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Godfredo Teodor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 60th minute Sal Darby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfredo Teodor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thibault Delanoë scored 8-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Godfredo Teodor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Godfredo Teodor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thibault Delanoë, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Otávio Freitas succeeded in the game's 68th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 9-0. Discovery's Godfredo Teodor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Percival de Souza in the 79th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sal Darby during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Sal Darby got a free kick in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sal Darby in the 86th minute of play forced Discovery's goalkeeper Godfredo Teodor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Godfredo Teodor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thibault Delanoë, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
