Spectators: 7741 (Terracing: 5807, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gabriel Marinho started the match with the kick off. Fiori Matos made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Carlos Mesquita in the 8th minute. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Flavien Deregnaucourt in the 9th minute. After taking down the ball on Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's corner Otávio Freitas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fiori Matos quite easily take care of the ball. Otávio Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Fiori Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Hyrol MzFC's Ernani Mesquita got a free kick in the 13th minute. With a little luck, Hyrol MzFC's Fiori Matos got control of the ball when João Carlos Mesquita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ernani Mesquita got his second yellow card in the match during the 15th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Ernani Mesquita hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th match minute, Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otávio Freitas to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute Thibault Delanoë shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fiori Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sal Darby had several of the Hyrol MzFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 22 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Fiori Matos as he didn't even see the shot coming. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Meng Yu Hui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Marinho in the 25th minute of play. The nice shot from João Carlos Mesquita in the 26thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Fiori Matos had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 29th minute, Aníbal Berger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute of the match, Sal Darby got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fiori Matos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fiori Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thibault Delanoë in the 41st minute of play. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Hyrol MzFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Flavien Deregnaucourt took the corner. The corner ended in Percival de Souza almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hyrol MzFC's Fiori Matos did a great save. After 46 played minutes, Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Luciano Maciel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fiori Matos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa reached it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sal Darby to make the kick off. Fiori Matos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sal Darby, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. If Sal Darby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Hyrol MzFC defense, Thibault Delanoë kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fiori Matos. The Hyrol MzFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fiori Matos should have stopped the shot. Fiori Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otávio Freitas in the 56th minute of play. Fiori Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sal Darby in the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hyrol MzFC's goalkeeper Fiori Matos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. João Pedro Mangueira kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sal Darby in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fiori Matos saved Hyrol MzFC from getting behind. João Carlos Mesquita might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fiori Matos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Carlos Mesquita ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 69th minute, Sal Darby ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fiori Matos was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Fiori Matos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otávio Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute Otávio Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fiori Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sal Darby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sal Darby blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fiori Matos having to make a save. If Sal Darby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fiori Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sal Darby in the 88th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Thibault Delanoë made a precise shot to the right of Fiori Matos. Hyrol MzFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 93rd minute, Sal Darby got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa fully deserved thier win.
