After some careless play in the LKbrazilian defense, Sydney Antunes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Vítor Bastos. The LKbrazilian fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Vítor Bastos should have stopped the shot. A collision led to LKbrazilian getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Giovanni Trevisan hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Sydney Antunes put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of José Vítor Bastos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Soeiro in the 21st minute of play forced LKbrazilian's goalkeeper José Vítor Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22ndth minute of the game Sydney Antunes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LKbrazilian's José Vítor Bastos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético-MG's goalkeeper Amos Nero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adelino Perez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Vítor Bastos having to make a save. José Vítor Bastos came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético-MG's Juan Soeiro. But to his dismay, Juan Soeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Sydney Antunes took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Vítor Bastos. José Vítor Bastos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Nelsinho Queirós took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for José Vítor Bastos. LKbrazilian's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. José Vítor Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Perez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th match minute, LKbrazilian was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Breno de Queirós to maneuver through the defense. When Atlético-MG's Sydney Antunes in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LKbrazilian's goalie prevented a goal. In the 42nd minute Vasily Yaskovich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Vítor Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind LKbrazilian's goalkeeper José Vítor Bastos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Juan Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. LKbrazilian's José Vítor Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino Perez in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Breno de Queirós stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vasily Yaskovich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Atlético-MG's Sydney Antunes got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Glauco Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in LKbrazilian's zone, Vasily Yaskovich stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Vítor Bastos came out of the goal and Vasily Yaskovich tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the match, LKbrazilian's goalkeeper José Vítor Bastos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adelino Perez. Sydney Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. José Vítor Bastos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edvaldo Secco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giovanni Trevisan hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. José Vítor Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sydney Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atlético-MG were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after LKbrazilian's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sydney Antunes took the corner. A well done corner resulted in Juan Soeiro drilling the ball in to score 0-8 behind LKbrazilian's goalkeeper. Atlético-MG's Paulão Lago shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 76th minute of play. The shot was stopped by José Vítor Bastos but with some difficulty. Sydney Antunes scored 0-9 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Vítor Bastos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. José Vítor Bastos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adelino Perez in the 80th minute. José Vítor Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Soeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, LKbrazilian's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luiz Coelho fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 94 minutes, Sydney Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético-MG's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sydney Antunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute, Adelino Perez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
