The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Soeiro got free with Abel da Silva in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11th minute, Sydney Antunes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Abel da Silva. The goal made the score 2-0. 15 minutes into the game, Sydney Antunes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Abel da Silva. Sydney Antunes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Abel da Silva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sydney Antunes went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Atlético-MG getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Luiz Coelho hit a great ball. Abel Leme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amos Nero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Abel da Silva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Soeiro went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Loud Academy FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Sydney Antunes scored to the left of an out of position Abel da Silva, making the score, 6-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Alberto Simão kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Abel da Silva. That made the score 7-0 in the 37 minute of play. Alberto Simão received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Abel da Silva came out and tried to block the shot, but Alberto Simão slotted it home off the left post making it 8-0 in the 40th minute. If Sydney Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Loud Academy FC's Abel da Silva got control of the ball when Juan Soeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Atlético-MG's Amos Nero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dedê Moreno in the 47th minute of play. Loud Academy FC were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Atlético-MG's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dedê Moreno took the corner. The corner led to Loud Academy FC's Orlando Trevisan getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dedê Moreno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Atlético-MG's Paulão Lago got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético-MG's zone, Dedê Moreno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amos Nero came out of the goal and Dedê Moreno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Loud Academy FC's Abel da Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sydney Antunes in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Orlando Trevisan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Amos Nero managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Loud Academy FC's Dedê Moreno fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dedê Morenos short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Amos Nero to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 66th minute, Juan Soeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abel da Silva was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. 69 minutes into the game, Luiz Coelho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Abel da Silva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 73 minutes into the game, Atlético-MG's Alberto Simão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abel da Silva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. 79 minutes into the match, Loud Academy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Coelho came free, but Abel da Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Simão in the 80th minute of play forced Loud Academy FC's goalkeeper Abel da Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Alberto Simão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético-MG fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0. In the 85th minute, Juan Soeiro made a precise shot to the right of Abel da Silva. Loud Academy FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 13-0. 89 minutes into the game, Ademar de Senna threw the ball into play from the sideline. Atlético-MG's Edvaldo Secco quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Abel da Silva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Simão went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 14-0 was the resulting score. Abel da Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sydney Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atlético-MG's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
