Dé Severo scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Glauco Soeiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Glauco Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléber Cavalcante in the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Dé Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glauco Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Dé Severo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Glauco Soeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 15 minutes into the match, S.E Azzurra's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Travassos came free, but Glauco Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vito Travassos took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Glauco Soeiro. Glauco Soeiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Travassos in the 27th minute of play forced S.E Azzurra's goalkeeper Glauco Soeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the S.E Azzurra defense, Vito Travassos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Glauco Soeiro. The S.E Azzurra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Glauco Soeiro should have stopped the shot. Glauco Soeiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Glauco Soeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vito Travassos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elmut Kari was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Travassos in the 53rd minute of play forced S.E Azzurra's goalkeeper Glauco Soeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Glauco Soeiro stood somewhat misplaced when Vito Travassos came free in front of goal and shot 0-9 to the left of him in the 55 minute. With a little luck, S.E Azzurra's Glauco Soeiro got control of the ball when Hernani Vidal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Glauco Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dé Severo in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Romildo Pratti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glauco Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Glauco Soeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmílson Lago, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Glauco Soeiro came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by São Paulo F.C.'s Dé Severo. But to his dismay, Dé Severo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. In the 81st minute Romildo Pratti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glauco Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, São Paulo F.C.'s Kléber Cavalcante dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-13. São Paulo F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Yago Leite in the 93rd minute. Glauco Soeiro made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Geovani Coutinho sent off a good shot on target. 96 minutes into the match, S.E Azzurra's goalkeeper Glauco Soeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmílson Lago.
