José Vítor Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clayton Sergi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavinho Meirelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Vítor Bastos having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Clayton Sergi notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of LKbrazilian's José Vítor Bastos. José Vítor Bastos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. José Vítor Bastos didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when SE Palestra Itália's Flavinho Meirelles shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-0 in the ordered_time% minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clayton Sergi to make the kick off. SE Palestra Itália's supporters rose to their feet, but Clayton Sergi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Vítor Bastos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute, Flavinho Meirelles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Vítor Bastos was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by LKbrazilian's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adalberto Custódio was slow to take the kick. During this time SE Palestra Itália's players had a chance to rest. If Flavinho Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clayton Sergi in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Vítor Bastos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SE Palestra Itália had played much better football throughout.
