After 3 minutes of play, A.C.Mandala's Tomas Gustavsson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henrique Pires was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dorival Leão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Henrique Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Maranhense in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henrique Pires saved Shamrock United from getting behind. In the 13th minute, Dorival Leão made a precise shot to the right of Henrique Pires. Shamrock United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 16th minute Dorival Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrique Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Maranhense in the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Bernardinho Siqueira made a precise shot to the right of Henrique Pires. Shamrock United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Maranhense in the 27th minute of play forced Shamrock United's goalkeeper Henrique Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Eduardo Alvarenga hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Henrique Pires came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by A.C.Mandala's Dorival Leão. But to his dismay, Dorival Leão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. 38 minutes into the match, Bernardinho Siqueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henrique Pires. Shamrock United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernardinho Siqueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. 41 minutes into the match, Dorival Leão notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Shamrock United's Henrique Pires. Henrique Pires was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Igor Maranhense put it in 0-9 from a short distance just to the right of Henrique Pires. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-9 lead.

The wind increased when Carlos Eduardo Alvarenga made the kick off in the second half. Henrique Pires didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Igor Maranhense went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Igor Maranhense put it in 0-12 from a short distance just to the right of Henrique Pires. Dorival Leão had several of the Shamrock United's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 63 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-13 score and a disappointed Henrique Pires as he didn't even see the shot coming. Tomas Gustavsson scored 0-14 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henrique Pires, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st minute Valdomiro Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Su Xiang Chuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrique Pires was a little too slow when Dorival Leão got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-15. In the 77th minute, Ronaldão Marquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henrique Pires came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by A.C.Mandala's Dorival Leão. But to his dismay, Dorival Leão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-16. Henrique Pires made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Bernardinho Siqueira sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Gustavsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henrique Pires read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Shamrock United's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Maranhense came free, but Henrique Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Maranhense in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrique Pires prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomas Gustavsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Henrique Pires made a huge save. In the 94th minute, Zé Paulo Pernambucano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the match, Tomas Gustavsson notched a goal, 0-18, to the right of Shamrock United's Henrique Pires. Henrique Pires was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A.C.Mandala's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
