An unexpected shot in the 19th minute by Wei Guang Xing got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 21st minute of the match, Czeslaw Walec tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Artur Lima saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Ronaldo Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uberlandia-DMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldo Rodrigues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens Mikaelsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benedito Trancoso charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Ben Zynek's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jens Mikaelsson firmly grabbed it by the left post. Uberlandia-DMZ's Elias Siqueira was substituted for Vladimir Moskvin. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Uberlandia-DMZ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
