Xinosfreba 13's attentive Afonsinho Custódio managed to snatch the ball when Alfredão Paiva made a throw-in in the 11th minute of the game. After having played for 12 minutes, Alfredinho Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xinosfreba 13's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredinho Pires was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Freddy Cordarrell came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Sport Club Mavericks fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Cordarrell couldn't finish the play. In the 19thth minute of the game Zézinho Lopez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xinosfreba 13's Clemente Dante was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Zézinho Lopez put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Clemente Dante. 25 minutes into the game, Freddy Cordarrell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Clemente Dante was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 29 minutes, Freddy Cordarrell made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Xinosfreba 13's Clemente Dante tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Cordarrell in the 33rd minute of play forced Xinosfreba 13's goalkeeper Clemente Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Giovani Faria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute, Bruno Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sport Club Mavericks were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Xinosfreba 13's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arnaldo Baiano took the corner. The corner ended in Arnaldo Baiano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Xinosfreba 13's Clemente Dante did a great save. After the first half Sport Club Mavericks were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Sport Club Mavericks's Deivid Fantini was substituted for Guilherme Abudi. Sport Club Mavericks's Bater Noppe was substituted for Wiliam de Moraes. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zézinho Lopez made a kick off. Clemente Dante made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Freddy Cordarrell sent off a good shot on target. Giovani Faria took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manoel Peixoto. Manoel Peixoto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Zézinho Lopez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Clemente Dante made a huge save. When Xinosfreba 13's Shen Jun Peng in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sport Club Mavericks's goalie prevented a goal. In the 60th minute Xinosfreba 13 were awarded a corner. Giovani Faria went to the cornerflag to take it. Xinosfreba 13's Bruno Alves was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Manoel Peixoto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Clemente Dante made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Zézinho Lopez sent off a good shot on target. Clemente Dante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zézinho Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Cordarrell in the 77th minute of play forced Xinosfreba 13's goalkeeper Clemente Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shen Jun Peng might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manoel Peixoto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Shen Jun Peng ran back to his position shaking his head. Manoel Peixoto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shen Jun Peng in the 79th minute of play. Shen Jun Peng might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manoel Peixoto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Shen Jun Peng ran back to his position shaking his head. Sport Club Mavericks's Manoel Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shen Jun Peng in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Vladimir da Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute Freddy Cordarrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Freddy Cordarrell spun around in front of the goal 87 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Xinosfreba 13's goal. In the 98th minute of the match Sport Club Mavericks got a corner. Xinosfreba 13's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arnaldo Baiano ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Bater Noppe heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The Sport Club Mavericks players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
