The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Pitman FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Gabino came free, but Gonzo Maradona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute Qian Cheng Xing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzo Maradona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Habil Castolo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gonzo Maradona. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Sabin Pânzaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Timo in the 18th minute of play. Sabin Pânzaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Heriberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Qian Cheng Xing kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gonzo Maradona. That made the score 2-0 in the 23 minute of play. Sabin Pânzaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albano Timo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gonzo Maradona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Qian Cheng Xing in the 39th minute of the match. Gabi Milito took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sabin Pânzaru. Sabin Pânzaru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Habil Castolo to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, the xeneise dream team's Lucio Gabino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gonzo Maradona narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Habil Castolo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Pitman FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arda Ardashov came free, but Gonzo Maradona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute Arda Ardashov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzo Maradona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sabin Pânzaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albano Timo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Witold Ciempa in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sabin Pânzaru, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Pitman FC's Alejandro Grosso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sabin Pânzaru in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 85 minutes into the match, Pitman FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arda Ardashov came free, but Gonzo Maradona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damian Heriberto had several of the the xeneise dream team's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 87 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-4 score and a disappointed Sabin Pânzaru as he didn't even see the shot coming. Gonzo Maradona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Habil Castolo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute.
