Michal Stehno who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Emanuel Podgoreanu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michal Stehno got free with Emanuel Podgoreanu in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 37 minutes into the match, Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's goal looked a bit too open when Máximo Kirchner came free, but Emanuel Podgoreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute of the match Unidad de Matanza got a corner. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The corner led Unidad de Matanza's Wieslaw Szkaradek to fire away a dangerous shot which Emanuel Podgoreanu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Emanuel Podgoreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Horácio Garcia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Unidad de Matanza's Jonatan Eguzki got control of the ball when Horácio Garcia tried to sneak it across the goal line. But to his dismay, Marsilam Sangaji quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Rosendo Gervaso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Emanuel Podgoreanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Unidad de Matanza's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
