Tristan Webster's late challenge caught a Fleetwood Town F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tristan Webster helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Maesteg FC's Tristan Webster got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Fleetwood Town F.C.'s Greid Wright tried to score from far away in the 3rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Fleetwood Town F.C.'s Boruc Giertych in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maesteg FC's goalie prevented a goal. Boruc Giertych received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Angawdd Haymonger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boruc Giertych sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boruc Giertych fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angawdd Haymonger having to interfere. Cas Chance struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Angawdd Haymonger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fleetwood Town F.C.. Boruc Giertych sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Calder Jacob got free with Prydwen Factor in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Fleetwood Town F.C.'s zone, Calder Jacob stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prydwen Factor came out of the goal and Calder Jacob tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fleetwood Town F.C.'s Prydwen Factor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Fleetwood Town F.C. from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boruc Giertych in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angawdd Haymonger saved Maesteg FC from getting behind. Maesteg FC's Angawdd Haymonger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Greid Wright in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Fleetwood Town F.C.'s Boruc Giertych sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angawdd Haymonger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Boruc Giertych came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Fleetwood Town F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boruc Giertych couldn't finish the play. Maesteg FC's Angawdd Haymonger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boruc Giertych in the 38th minute of play. Boruc Giertych received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Angawdd Haymonger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Boruc Giertych ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angawdd Haymonger was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1.

Angawdd Haymonger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vaddon Floyd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Cynbal Atkinson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boruc Giertych struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Angawdd Haymonger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fleetwood Town F.C.. After 60 minutes, Baddon Berwick mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maesteg FC and the Fleetwood Town F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Calder Jacob fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prydwen Factor having to interfere. With his leg Angawdd Haymonger managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Fleetwood Town F.C.'s Boruc Giertych fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 85 minutes into the match, Boruc Giertych notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Maesteg FC's Angawdd Haymonger. Angawdd Haymonger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Maesteg FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Sel Bowden hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, one of Maesteg FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Maesteg FC. Greid Wright shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Cas Chance managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fleetwood Town F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Cas Chance was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angawdd Haymonger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fleetwood Town F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
