A sloppy throw-in by Deilmison Davids in the 5th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Chelsea Headhunters's 孟坤誉. Sitthachat Jampeehom was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Gonzalo Otsoko capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gonzalo Otsoko really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Cesare Maldini hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute Gonzalo Otsoko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sitthachat Jampeehom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sitthachat Jampeehom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Otsoko in the 17th minute of play. When Gavião Kyikatejê's Miguel Zuasnabar in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chelsea Headhunters's goalie prevented a goal. In the 20thth minute of the game Miguel Zuasnabar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chelsea Headhunters's Matthew McKail was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sitthachat Jampeehom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Otsoko in the 23rd minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Knut Sandström got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sitthachat Jampeehom quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Gavião Kyikatejê's Sitthachat Jampeehom got control of the ball when Honorato Abancens tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miguel Zuasnabar might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matthew McKail. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miguel Zuasnabar ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 34th minute Miguel Zuasnabar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthew McKail saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Zuasnabar in the 36th minute of play forced Chelsea Headhunters's goalkeeper Matthew McKail to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Chelsea Headhunters's Knut Sandström got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chelsea Headhunters's goalkeeper Matthew McKail, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Matthew McKail showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Zuasnabar, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Sitthachat Jampeehom came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Chelsea Headhunters's Gonzalo Otsoko. But to his dismay, Gonzalo Otsoko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Miroslaw Dobilas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matthew McKail read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Gavião Kyikatejê were awarded a corner. Archie Brodie went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Gavião Kyikatejê's corner Archie Brodie fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Matthew McKail quite easily take care of the ball. Chelsea Headhunters's Karol Lampa was substituted for Gonzalo Otsoko. Sitthachat Jampeehom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Lampa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Gavião Kyikatejê booed when Chelsea Headhunters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. 孟坤誉 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gong Zhen Fan hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Sitthachat Jampeehom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karol Lampa in the 88th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Gong Zhen Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthew McKail saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 minutes, Karol Lampa made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Gavião Kyikatejê's Sitthachat Jampeehom tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chelsea Headhunters fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gavião Kyikatejê had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
