Bruce Cooper stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Max McAndeoir's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. After 8th play minutes Max McAndeoir shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Bruce Cooper and just under the crossbar into goal. McNahas Clan FC's Mitt Bena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save McNahas Clan FC from getting a goal against them. McNahas Clan FC's Mitt Bena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bobby Collins in the 19th minute of play. Mitt Bena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bobby Collins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jamie Federith in the 22nd minute of play forced McNahas Clan FC's goalkeeper Mitt Bena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, McNahas Clan FC's goalkeeper Mitt Bena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Graeme Sharp. The crowd rose to their feet as Jamie Federith kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mitt Bena. That made the score 2-1 in the 25 minute of play. After 27 played minutes Alloa Golden Blades got a freekick which was hit by Bobby Collins. In the 28th minute, Stelian Negru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mitt Bena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Graeme Sharp in the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd match minute, McNahas Clan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon McAuslane to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the McNahas Clan FC defense, Jamie Federith kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mitt Bena. The McNahas Clan FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mitt Bena should have stopped the shot. 36 minutes into the match, McNahas Clan FC's goalkeeper Mitt Bena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Graeme Sharp. Mitt Bena made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Graeme Sharp sent off a good shot on target. In the 39th minute, Eurico Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alloa Golden Blades's Bruce Cooper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthony Wass in the 40th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stelian Negru during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Stelian Negru hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Stelian Negru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The McNahas Clan FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 47th minute Jamie Federith shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mitt Bena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Graeme Sharp made the kick off in the second half. Graeme Sharp scored 4-2 in the 50th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mitt Bena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mitt Bena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jamie Federith in the 54th minute of the match. Max McAndeoir might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruce Cooper. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Max McAndeoir ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Alloa Golden Blades booed when McNahas Clan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremy Bontine didn't get a good kick on the ball. McNahas Clan FC's Mitt Bena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jamie Federith in the 62nd minute of play. In the 67th match minute, McNahas Clan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stelian Negru to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alisdair McNiter in the 68th minute of play forced McNahas Clan FC's goalkeeper Mitt Bena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 minutes of play, Alloa Golden Blades's Bobby Collins made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mitt Bena was left in no man's land by his defense there! McNahas Clan FC made a substitution. Quentin Findlayson replaced Jeremy Bontine. A collision led to Alloa Golden Blades getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Fernan Lleir hit a great ball. Mitt Bena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bobby Collins, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Mitt Bena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bobby Collins in the 90th minute of play. After 93 played minutes McNahas Clan FC got a freekick which was hit by Ciaran McVinish.
