Smiddy Celts's Jesse McJames played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Archie Brodie in the 2nd minute of play. Jesse McJames made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miroslaw Dobilas in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute, one of Gavião Kyikatejê:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gavião Kyikatejê. If Paddy Thomson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Smiddy Celts's Jesse McJames proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Smiddy Celts from getting a goal against them. Gavião Kyikatejê's Sitthachat Jampeehom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Graeme McRobie in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Graeme McRobie in the 24th minute of play forced Gavião Kyikatejê's goalkeeper Sitthachat Jampeehom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Graeme McRobie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Sitthachat Jampeehom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute Smiddy Celts were awarded a corner. 雷益铮 went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Smiddy Celts's 雷益铮 to fire away a dangerous shot which Sitthachat Jampeehom despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Gavião Kyikatejê's goal looked a bit too open when Graeme McRobie came free, but Sitthachat Jampeehom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Zuasnabar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Jesse McJames made a huge save. 40 minutes into the match, Smiddy Celts's goal looked a bit too open when Miroslaw Dobilas came free, but Jesse McJames reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Graeme McRobie in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sitthachat Jampeehom saved Gavião Kyikatejê from getting behind. Jesse McJames was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Miguel Zuasnabar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Miguel Zuasnabar really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Smiddy Celts's Wal McVean was substituted for Graeme McRobie. After a rather tough play, Smiddy Celts's Paddy Thomson got a free kick in the 51st minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

57 minutes into the match, Smiddy Celts's Graeme Gordon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sitthachat Jampeehom narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Graeme Gordon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Graeme Gordon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Sitthachat Jampeehom made a huge save. Graeme Gordon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sitthachat Jampeehom having to make a save. Paddy Thomson kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Smiddy Celts's Paddy Thomson got a free kick in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Zuasnabar in the 70th minute of play forced Smiddy Celts's goalkeeper Jesse McJames to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute of the match Gavião Kyikatejê got a corner. Smiddy Celts's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Miroslaw Dobilas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tommy Gunn tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Jesse McJames. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-1 in the 72nd minute. In the 76th match minute, Smiddy Celts was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wal McVean to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Gavião Kyikatejê's Sitthachat Jampeehom got control of the ball when Graeme Gordon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sitthachat Jampeehom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Graeme Gordon, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 87 minutes into the game, Graeme Gordon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sitthachat Jampeehom. Graeme Gordon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. After some careless play in the Smiddy Celts defense, Archie Brodie kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jesse McJames. The Smiddy Celts fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jesse McJames should have stopped the shot. Diogo Llorente made in the 92nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Smiddy Celts's Tommy Gunn. Smiddy Celts's Jesse McJames played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Zuasnabar in the 94th minute of play. Jesse McJames made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodney Lindov in the 97th minute of play. Jesse McJames took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Zuasnabar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
