The referee gave Yapton a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Geoff McParland, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Garstang AFC's Nigel Hill. 2-0. Dean Bloomfield's late challenge caught a Garstang AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dean Bloomfield helped the player get up and apologised. Dean Bloomfield hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the game, Tony Stone was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yapton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garstang AFC the free kick. Tony Stone kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Henry Moss recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciarán Jones was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 31st minute. Yapton's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Marcus King showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Vedat Kabataş, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 32 minutes of play, Garstang AFC's Ali Vedat Kabataş made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcus King was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tony Stone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Nigel Hill made a huge save. After 38 minutes of play, Yapton's Tony Stone made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nigel Hill was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ciarán Jones to make the kick off. Milosz Literski kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Nigel Hill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geoff McParland in the 61st minute of the match. Henry Moss recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcus King showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Moss, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Ali Vedat Kabataş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Marcus King tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Tony Stone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yapton's supporters rose to their feet, but Tony Stone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nigel Hill breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nigel Hill didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geoff McParland went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Ciarán Jones put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Nigel Hill. In the 79th minute, Henry Moss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anselmo Spione received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Marcus King tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Yapton booed when Garstang AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milosz Literski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dean Bloomfield was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 88 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the game, one of Yapton:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Geoff McParland kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Florencio Maureo struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Marcus King didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garstang AFC. Henry Moss fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus King having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Garstang AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Yapton.
