Spectators: 9149 (Terracing: 6700, Seating: 2350, VIP seats: 99) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jim Bannister started the match with the kick off. The Rawdon FC fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Rawdon FC's Tobiasz Karaszkiewicz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Reinaldo Varela took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Owen Hopker. Owen Hopker dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Intrusive Thoughts's Owen Hopker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinaldo Varela in the 12th minute of play. Owen Hopker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobiasz Karaszkiewicz in the 13th minute of the match. Owen Hopker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobiasz Karaszkiewicz in the 15th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Tobiasz Karaszkiewicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Owen Hopker was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 19th minute Reinaldo Varela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Owen Hopker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match Rawdon FC got a corner. Intrusive Thoughts's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Peter Smith ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 26th minute, Tobiasz Karaszkiewicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Owen Hopker was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Max Rider's late challenge caught a Rawdon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Max Rider helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Rawdon FC booed when Intrusive Thoughts was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Max Rider didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute Richard Herlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Owen Hopker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobiasz Karaszkiewicz in the 35th minute of play forced Intrusive Thoughts's goalkeeper Owen Hopker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 39 minutes, Andrew Wild managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Intrusive Thoughts's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrew Wild was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute, Reinaldo Varela ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Owen Hopker was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. In the 44th match minute, Rawdon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Herlin to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tobiasz Karaszkiewicz was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobiasz Karaszkiewicz in the 51st minute of play forced Intrusive Thoughts's goalkeeper Owen Hopker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Owen Hopker made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Reinaldo Varela sent off a good shot on target. Richard Herlin succeeded in the game's 54th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-9. Intrusive Thoughts's Owen Hopker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Intrusive Thoughts from getting a goal against them. After taking down the ball on Rawdon FC's corner Peter Smith fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Owen Hopker quite easily take care of the ball. In the 60th match minute, Intrusive Thoughts was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Garner to maneuver through the defense. Tobiasz Karaszkiewicz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Owen Hopker firmly grabbed it by the left post. Philip Duke kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 62 minutes into the game, Tobiasz Karaszkiewicz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Owen Hopker. Tobiasz Karaszkiewicz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Herlin in the 67th minute of play forced Intrusive Thoughts's goalkeeper Owen Hopker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Owen Hopker managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Rawdon FC's Tobiasz Karaszkiewicz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Intrusive Thoughts's Owen Hopker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Intrusive Thoughts from getting a goal against them. Owen Hopker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tobiasz Karaszkiewicz in the 74th minute. Tobiasz Karaszkiewicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Owen Hopker having to make a save. 77 minutes into the match, Rawdon FC's Tobiasz Karaszkiewicz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Owen Hopker narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Owen Hopker was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Richard Herlin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-11 in the 78 minute of play. Rawdon FC made a substitution. Bernard Ginn replaced Tobiasz Karaszkiewicz. After 84 minutes, Richard Herlin made it 0-12 with a short kick to the right side. Intrusive Thoughts's Owen Hopker tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Richard Herlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benedykt Klimkiewicz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Owen Hopker skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bernard Ginn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Owen Hopker made a huge save. Intrusive Thoughts's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Reinaldo Varela scored to the left of an out of position Owen Hopker, making the score, 0-13. Owen Hopker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernard Ginn in the 94th minute of the match. When the match was over Rawdon FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Intrusive Thoughts throughout the match.
