Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ciarán Jones got the match started through his kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damien Fish during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 5 minutes into the match, Brimhaven FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miles Mabbutt came free, but Kenneth E. White reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Ciarán Jones had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kenneth E. White. Brimhaven FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciarán Jones was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Andrew Couzens took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Marcus King to make any attempt to save it. 15 minutes into the match, Brimhaven FC's goal looked a bit too open when Geoff McParland came free, but Kenneth E. White reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Brimhaven FC defense, Tony Stone kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kenneth E. White. The Brimhaven FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kenneth E. White should have stopped the shot. Kenneth E. White came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Yapton's Tony Stone. But to his dismay, Tony Stone quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Kenneth E. White stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciarán Jones's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. After 30 minutes of play, Yapton's Tony Stone made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kenneth E. White was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Tony Stone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yapton's supporters rose to their feet, but Tony Stone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kenneth E. White breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute, Ciarán Jones got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kenneth E. White showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geoff McParland in the 46th minute of the match. In the 46th match minute, Brimhaven FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theo Gates to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the match, Brimhaven FC's goal looked a bit too open when Geoff McParland came free, but Kenneth E. White reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The wind increased when Andrew Couzens made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciarán Jones in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kenneth E. White saved Brimhaven FC from getting behind. Kenneth E. White showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciarán Jones, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After a rather tough play, Yapton's Ciarán Jones got a free kick in the 58th minute. Kenneth E. White made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciarán Jones in the 59th minute of play. Tony Stone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the game, Joey Gillespie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brimhaven FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yapton the free kick. In the 64th minute, Joey Gillespie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Ciarán Jones left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yapton fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. In the 74th minute of the match, Ciarán Jones tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kenneth E. White saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tony Stone had several of the Brimhaven FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 77 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-6 score and a disappointed Kenneth E. White as he didn't even see the shot coming. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Tony Stone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yapton's supporters rose to their feet, but Tony Stone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kenneth E. White breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82nd minute Andrew Couzens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus King saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ciarán Jones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcus King showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrew Couzens in the 88th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Yapton's Tony Stone got a free kick in the 90th minute. Yapton's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
