An unexpectedly hard shot by Txema Cerbera in the 8th minute of play forced Chuffing Hell United's goalkeeper Tristram Fleetwood to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Txema Cerbera got free with Tristram Fleetwood in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Shi Hong Xiao made in the 14th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Thomas Stenger however managed to control. Tristram Fleetwood showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sam Lunt in the 15th minute of the match. Kaur Kapten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seb Colton in the 21st minute of play. After having played for 25 minutes, Seb Colton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chuffing Hell United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Seb Colton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Chuffing Hell United's goalkeeper Tristram Fleetwood had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sam Lunt. Jonathon Clay was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Txema Cerbera was extremely unlucky when he, in the 39th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Modernians's Kaur Kapten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Shipton in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute George Shipton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaur Kapten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Txema Cerbera made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Chuffing Hell United's goal looked a bit too open when Gerry Sollit came free, but Tristram Fleetwood reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kaur Kapten stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Seb Colton's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. George Shipton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kaur Kapten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. The supporters of Chuffing Hell United booed when Modernians was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Txema Cerbera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chuffing Hell United were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Modernians's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Seb Colton took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Francis Cole got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kaur Kapten quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tristram Fleetwood made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Txema Cerbera in the 68th minute of play. After 70 played minutes Chuffing Hell United got a freekick which was hit by Simon Rouse. In the 71st minute Thomas Stenger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristram Fleetwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Modernians's Kaur Kapten got control of the ball when George Shipton tried to sneak it across the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Modernians's Thomas Stenger nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tristram Fleetwood made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Txema Cerbera in the 83rd minute of play forced Chuffing Hell United's goalkeeper Tristram Fleetwood to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute Txema Cerbera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristram Fleetwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Chuffing Hell United's Kaur Kapten threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Seb Colton, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Modernians's goalkeeper Kaur Kapten, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tristram Fleetwood showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Txema Cerbera in the 92nd minute of the match. Chuffing Hell United succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Modernians had controlled the match.
