After having played for 9 minutes, Nils Bogren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sandöverken IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils Bogren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hans Molin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jon Kihlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th match minute, Stockholm Nord was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiph Ahlroht to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th match minute, Sandöverken IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernt Hellqvist to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Linberg in the 21st minute of play forced Sandöverken IK's goalkeeper Oliver Haraldsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sandöverken IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Nils Bogren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jon Kihlberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hans Molin in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jon Kihlberg saved Stockholm Nord from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Stockholm Nord's Vilgot Carlberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oliver Haraldsson. That made the score 1-0 after 35 minutes of play. Oliver Haraldsson made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Harald Vibjörnsson sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roger Linberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Karl-Åke Forsell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sandöverken IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stockholm Nord the free kick. Andy Månsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oliver Haraldsson. Sandöverken IK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 67 minutes of play, Stockholm Nord's Roger Linberg made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oliver Haraldsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 76th minute, Nils Bogren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stockholm Nord's Jon Kihlberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Stockholm Nord from getting a goal against them. 80 minutes into the match, Sandöverken IK's goal looked a bit too open when Vilgot Carlberg came free, but Oliver Haraldsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Lilja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon Kihlberg having to interfere. A collision led to Stockholm Nord getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Andy Månsson hit a great ball. Nils Bogren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jon Kihlberg having to make a save. Oliver Haraldsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Linberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 92nd minute, Axel Näfver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Hans Molin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Stockholm Nord's zone, Hans Molin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jon Kihlberg came out of the goal and Hans Molin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 96 minutes into the game, Filiph Ahlroht was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stockholm Nord's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sandöverken IK the free kick. A collision led to Stockholm Nord getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Filiph Ahlroht hit a great ball. Sandöverken IK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
