The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Mörknäs Electric Vikings's Edgar Trulsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cornel Luncaniță. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. Gunnar Lidberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alf Ekelund's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. The audience was convinced that Edgar Trulsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cornel Luncaniță was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Edgar Trulsson put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cornel Luncaniță. Gunnar Lidberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alf Ekelund's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the game, Nils-Åke Haraldsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Segelbut IF fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Segelbut IF's Alf Ekelund looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 32 minutes into the game, Alf Ekelund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Gunnar Lidberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gunnar Lidberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Ekelund, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. If Harry Deckberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Segelbut IF's Alf Ekelund in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mörknäs Electric Vikings's goalie prevented a goal. Edgar Trulsson's late challenge caught a Segelbut IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgar Trulsson helped the player get up and apologised. Edgar Trulsson hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Kurt Odeen kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Edgar Trulsson made the kick off in the second half. If Alf Ekelund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 57th minute, Harry Deckberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cornel Luncaniță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Trulsson in the 59th minute of play. Gunnar Lidberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alf Ekelund's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Alf Ekelund in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gunnar Lidberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Segelbut IF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
