Di Xing Yu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Di Xing Yu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Ekelund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yudi Alphonse during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Di Xing Yu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Munio in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf Ekelund in the 30th minute of play forced Vänge IF's goalkeeper Di Xing Yu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Schorsch Schmalzbauer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cornel Luncaniță. Schorsch Schmalzbauer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 35 minutes into the match, Segelbut IF's goal looked a bit too open when Raşit Timuroz came free, but Cornel Luncaniță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Younis Abo Al Hasan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raşit Timuroz to make the kick off. Cornel Luncaniță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raşit Timuroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute Harry Deckberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Di Xing Yu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Marcelo Munio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Di Xing Yu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. William Anselius's late challenge caught a Segelbut IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. William Anselius helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, William Anselius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Segelbut IF's Alfons Öberg was substituted for Alf Ekelund. A collision led to Vänge IF getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. William Anselius hit a great ball. In the 81st match minute, Segelbut IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Odeen to maneuver through the defense. Schorsch Schmalzbauer struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Cornel Luncaniță didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vänge IF. Segelbut IF made a substitution. Umberto Nunes replaced Marcelo Munio. After 86 played minutes Vänge IF got a freekick which was hit by Rikard Odin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfons Öberg in the 89th minute of play forced Vänge IF's goalkeeper Di Xing Yu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Umberto Nunes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Di Xing Yu was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. 93 minutes into the match, Segelbut IF's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Viviano came free, but Cornel Luncaniță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Vänge IF's Di Xing Yu got control of the ball when Alfons Öberg tried to sneak it across the goal line.
