Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harry Deckberg in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nils Tunander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Segelbut IF were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Vilbergen Boys Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Robbie Šlajs took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Kurt Odeen managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Nils Tunander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Munio in the 22nd minute of the match. The supporters of Vilbergen Boys Club booed when Segelbut IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Younis Abo Al Hasan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cornel Luncaniță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvald Mattsson in the 26th minute of the match. Nils Tunander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Munio, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Osvald Mattsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornel Luncaniță having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Munio in the 36th minute of play forced Vilbergen Boys Club's goalkeeper Nils Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 minutes Vilbergen Boys Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Robbie Šlajs who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Deckberg in the 44th minute of play forced Vilbergen Boys Club's goalkeeper Nils Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alf Ekelund struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Nils Tunander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Segelbut IF. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Alf Ekelund made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Segelbut IF's Marcelo Munio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nils Tunander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andreas King hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Vilbergen Boys Club's Nils Tunander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Munio in the 58th minute of play. Nils Tunander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Munio, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 70th minute Harry Deckberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Tunander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvald Mattsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the game, Sven-Oskar Lundin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Cornel Luncaniță was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Vilbergen Boys Club supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vilbergen Boys Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
