Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tivadar Demeter in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfonz Kállai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner led Grandi Lupi's Rafael Salgó to fire away a dangerous shot which Arnold Szuper despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Szombathely Squirrels walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
