Marcelino Flor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benny Impens, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. La Pointe Courte's Jolan Galindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John-Paul Marquant in the 12th minute of play. Jolan Galindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John-Paul Marquant in the 15th minute of the match. The La Pointe Courte players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Green Madness were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yves Leite made a kick off. Green Madness's attentive José Augusto Peres managed to snatch the ball when Jelle Ceustermans made a throw-in in the 56th minute of the game. The supporters of Green Madness booed when La Pointe Courte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benny Impens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Green Madness's Ren Feng was substituted for John-Paul Marquant. La Pointe Courte's Patrick Balkanlı was substituted for Benny Impens. In the 66th minute, Benny Impens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Étienne Cubizolles took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jolan Galindo.
