Jacinto Cuadrado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kobe Bryant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvano Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute Boca Juniors were awarded a corner. Jacek Krzynowek went to the cornerflag to take it. After some careless play in the Ona Somrient FC defense, Rolando Amorebieta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claude Erosa. The Ona Somrient FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claude Erosa should have stopped the shot. Silvano Montes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jacinto Cuadrado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gartzen Huarte in the 42nd minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Jacinto Cuadrado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claude Erosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacek Krzynowek, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kobe Bryant was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Montes came free, but Jacinto Cuadrado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacinto Cuadrado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Boca Juniors's Rolando Amorebieta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Claude Erosa. That made the score 2-2 after 67 minutes of play. Boca Juniors's Rainerio Obis was substituted for Jacek Krzynowek. Ona Somrient FC made a substitution. Fernan Alcantara replaced Silvano Montes. Ona Somrient FC made a substitution. Unax Dimas replaced Idacio Sánchez. Claude Erosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rainerio Obis in the 72nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Unax Dimas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ona Somrient FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Unax Dimas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacinto Cuadrado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kobe Bryant recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claude Erosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rainerio Obis in the 77th minute. Claude Erosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Amorebieta in the 78th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Ona Somrient FC's goalkeeper Claude Erosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hitzeder Manrique. Ermegildo Edorta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claude Erosa came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Rainerio Obis. But to his dismay, Rainerio Obis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. When the match was over Boca Juniors could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ona Somrient FC throughout the match.
