With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacek Krzynowek in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giro Escurza saved Couto Mixto F.C. from getting behind. Couto Mixto F.C.'s Giro Escurza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacek Krzynowek in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Jacinto Cuadrado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eneko Quesada. In the 23rd minute of the match, Eneko Quesada got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jacinto Cuadrado was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 25 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Edorta. Wei De Ling struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Jacinto Cuadrado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Couto Mixto F.C.. Giro Escurza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arkadiusz Banaszak in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's Jacek Krzynowek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giro Escurza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Wei De Ling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arkadiusz Banaszak was the one to do the kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Jacek Krzynowek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Couto Mixto F.C.'s Giro Escurza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Arkadiusz Banaszak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Giro Escurza was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Giro Escurza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ermegildo Edorta in the 60th minute. In the 77th minute Rolando Amorebieta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giro Escurza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Couto Mixto F.C. getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Amadeo Serena hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Silverio Gipuzkoa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Couto Mixto F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Amorebieta came free, but Giro Escurza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giro Escurza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Amorebieta in the 83rd minute of play. Olaf Varela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Giro Escurza made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Rolando Amorebieta got a free kick in the 88th minute. The Couto Mixto F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Boca Juniors were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
