Urdin Castan kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cipriano Ganix made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 50th minute, Cipriano Ganix managed to get in a good position for a shot. PERSPOLIS's supporters rose to their feet, but Cipriano Ganix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When Airas Silva came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Los once leones Ourense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Airas Silva couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo-Enrique Alabern in the 95th minute of play forced PERSPOLIS's goalkeeper Dean Grieve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The PERSPOLIS support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
